It's a great quality lanyard. The tie off components hold their length,stitching is great. My only problem is that the connecting clips are really heavy! The lanyard weighs as much as my positioning harness, if not more. This makes it pretty impractical for a 12 hour day. Like I said, it's very well made. But I personally cannot deal with the added weight. I'm already carrying 20 pounds of tools, and a six pound harness all day. So another 6 or 7 pounds of lanyard is just too much. And the weight pulls down on my dorsal a bit.

I am very pleased with the 3M product.  However, what was originally shipped was a generic version, not the 3M product.  As a 3M shareholder and loyalist, I was quite upset at HarnessLand for delivering a generic product when the 3M product was clearly advertised (it was even listed as 3M on my invoice!)  Fortunately, they responded with the correct product and a return label.  My rating applies to 3M lanyard.
