The lightweight MS series utilizes tear-resistant webbing and is constructed of high impact anti-shock polymer casing. Polycarbonate housing reduces the number of working parts for extended life and lighter weight.

- 16 ft Web Self Retracting Lanyard made with ultra high abrasion resistant Dyneema webbing. The same material glove manufacturers use to make the best cut resistant gloves on the market. Much stronger than kevlar.
- Designed for single users with a capacity up to 310 pounds (141 kg) including clothing, tools, etc.
- Snaphooks and carabiners used on the model MS-16 are marked with the ANSI Z359.12-09 standard, and are self-locking with a minimum tensile break strength of 5,000 pounds, and a 3,600 pound gate rating (consistent with ANSI Z359.12-09).
- When dynamically tested in accordance with the requirements of the ANSI Z359.1-2007 standard, the MS-16 has a maximum arrest force of 1,800 lbf (8 kN) and a maximum elongation of 42 in (1067 mm). Although it will usually stop arrest a fall within 18 inches or less, but you still need to factor in 42 inches in your fall distance calculations to stay within OSHA guidelines.
- This top of line self retracting lanyard only weighs 4.5 lbs., which is light enough to attach the carabiner to the back d-ring of your harness and/or use it with the carabiner attached to the anchor point and snap hook connected to your back d-ring.
